Breed Art

Self taught South Floridian artist Breed considers himself a “semi-native”, having spent half of his life in the Caribbean.
At an early age he had a strong passion for drawing.  As a five year old, he began sketching images of his favorite cartoon and super hero characters. Later in his teens he fueled this passion by taking odd jobs involving some artistic media, including drawing portraits, airbrushing, painting, screen printing and sign art.  Throughout the years, his experiences and studies aided him in refining his technical skill and development.  Inspired by major Pop Artists like Warhol, Voka, Marcelo and Banksy, he came full circle, returning to what moves him most.
He has a keen eye for style and detail. These talents, coupled with the understanding and appreciation of light, tone and color, helped sparked the creation of his own unique style and direction. His contemporary style and vision brings his work to life. Blending his passion for art with his love for history brings together a style that is modern – yet, at the same time, as timeless as the icons themselves that he paints. His paintings, drawings and abstract illustrations truly reflect the passion and pride of its creator. And his technique gives the paintings an unmistakable character and charm.

Breed is the complete artist and the caliber of his work undoubtedly speaks for itself.
